Blessing Eguke Ojie
Founder / CEO
Blessing Eguke Ojie was born and raised in sokoto state, Nigeria. She currently holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University, St. Louis Missouri, USA and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto State Nigeria. Blessing was previously employed with St. Louis Arc, a non governmental organization that supports people with developmental disabilities. She has over 15 years experience working with children. She is passionate about working with kids and started at a very early age even as a child herself. She is passionate about making life more fascinating and enjoyable for the younger generation.
Blessing Eguke Ojie worked in several capacity beginning from Obasanjo's farm in Ota, where she did her IT during her bachelors degree. She completed her NYSC (National youth service corps) in Jos, Plateau state where she worked with Coca Cola Company. Blessing moved to London in 2010 for her Masters degree in Human Resources Management and after a year decided to study abroad at the main campus in St. Louis Missouri, USA where she completed her Masters of Arts program. Blessing is enthusiastic about making kids be kids and giving them the tools they need to enhance their social, intellectual, spiritual and ethical skills around the world. She is doing all she can to make children smile.
Benjamin A. Ojie
Managing Director
As the managing director, Benjamin Ojie is focused on applying creative approach to help children reach their desired goals. He's currently a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis Missouri USA. He is passionate about the overall well being of a child. Along side his nursing degree, he also has a bachelors degree in Economies from Ambros Ali University Ekpoma, Edo state.
Benjamin coordinate the board of directors and executive team activities. He also oversee the daily activities of the organization.
He completed his national youth service at Minna, Niger state. Where he served as a teacher to children in a government college. He is passionate about impacting and encouraging children in a positive way. Benjamin is huge soccer fan and loves coaching children how to play.
Tamara Maria Tripp
Secretary of the Board
Tamara Maria Tripp was born and raised in St. louis, Missouri. She has more than 15 years of experience working with non govermental organizations. Tamara holds a degree in Liberal Art and is a member of the Elk. Tamara previously worked as a direct support professional at St. Louis ARC. During her tenur, she served as a house manager, providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities for over thirteen years.
Tamara is presently employed with Missouri Mentor, where she supports people with disabilities and serve as a mentor to them. Her tremendous love and passion for children has made a very valuable resource to Kids Day Out international. Tamara is blessed with two children and three beautiful dogs. her passion and love for children cannot be overemphasise and she intends to make sure Kids are giving all the opportunity and tools they need to be where they wish to be in every aspect of their lives.
Clarissa Winger
Board Member
Clarissa Winger was born in Indiana, moved to Illinois in 1991 and to Missouri in 2014.
She is the adoptive parent of a wonderful niece and loves spending time with friends and family. Her time as a mother has served to keep her focused on the best interests of the people around her as well as making her aware of how new adventures in childhood shapes loving and caring adults.
Clarissa has a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and enjoys learning new things each day. For the last twenty years, she has had the rewarding opportunity of working with clients throughout many phases of their financial lives. She has helped to train, create new programs and pilot innovative ways of making experiences at Wells Fargo more efficient and accessible.
Her love of cooking has found an outlet in Lasagna Love, a non-profit which provides meals those in the community. She also volunteers at her local church and spends time travelling as she is able
Brandi Eichholz
Board Member
Brandi Eichholz has always had a heart towards children and missions. She discovered this passion at the age of 10, when she began volunteering to help children struggling to read. From this beginning, her experience and opportunities have reflected her growing desire to help others around her. After marrying at 18, Brandi began traveling throughout the United States, following her husbands career. While living in Mississippi, Brandi worked with a small group to plant a church in the city of Columbus. After moving to South Carolina, she volunteered at a battered women's shelter, a pregnancy crisis center, a community mentorship program, and a local orphanage.
Brandi continues her charitable work in St. Louis, Missouri, where she teaches Sunday school in a local church. When she is not volunteering, she is a dedicated homemaker, and is focused on homeschooling her two children. As a director of Kids Day Out International, Brandi hopes to give school children a chance to stay playful as long as possible. She knows that life is not easy, but it can be made easier with a joyful childhood full of love and support.
